Our landlord legal expenses cover provides you with cover for defending or negotiating for your legal rights and cover is provided up to £50,000 per insured incident. Landlord Legal Expenses Cover is for:

• Evicting anyone in the property who has not got your permission to be there
• Defending your legal rights after an event which causes physical damage to the property
• Getting possession of the property that you have let
• Defending your legal rights if an event arising from you letting the property leads to you being prosecuted in a criminal court.

You can also extend your Legal Expenses Cover to include Loss of Rent Cover. This provides legal assistance in recovering any outstanding rent your tenant owes you while living in the rented property.

Landlord Home Emergency Cover

Landlord Home Emergency Cover protects against the cost of arranging emergency repairs required to make the rented property safe and secure following an unexpected event, such as a gas leak, a break-in or infestation of the property. Cover is provided for up to £500 per claim, and covers the cost of call-out charges, labour and materials. The service is available to use 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and there is no excess to pay.
